 This is the
fifth year that the calendar includes the Maya day and month glyphs for each day of the
year. The example pictured above are the glyphs for July 27, 2006. A
section at the beginning of the calendar (and here on the web) gives an overview of the
Maya
calendar and how it works. For example, a day with the glyphs 5 Imoox 14
Xuul will not repeat for fifty two years. Most of the artists
included in the calendar are Tz'utuhil, and so we have used the
Tz'utuhil Mayan language for the names of the glyphs rather than the
Yucateco Mayan language. |

I will remove the cardboard stiffener from the calendar (this requires cutting the shrink wrap) and it will come in a flexible envelope. The $5.95 rate comes in a stiff envelope.
