To ship the paintings from Guatemala to the United States, we remove them from their wooden supports [stretchers] and send them rolled up in a tube. They arrive Un-stretched. They need to be stretched and framed before they can be hung on the wall again.

Un-stretched paintings: You are buying only the actual painting on the canvas. It will arrive to you rolled up in a tube. You will have to take it to a framer and have it stretched and framed. We advise buyers from Europe and Asia to have their paintings sent to them un-stretched. We can take a painting out of the frame and off the stretcher bars if it has already been framed. In most cases, it is probably more economical to send the very large paintings un-stretched, and have them framed where you live.
Stretched paintings: For a small fee that is slightly more than the cost of the stretcher bars, I will stretch the painting for you. It should be less expensive than what most framers will charge. I will include screw eyes for wire so that you can hang the painting, if you wish, before you get it framed.

Framed paintings: Unfortunately, I no longer have the time to continue framing paintings. However, some of the paintings have already been framed with simple frames.
