Francisco’s addictions preclude the possibility of holding down a regular job. Besides cleaning the house, and sweeping the sidewalk, Francisco takes most of the responsibly for the care of the dogs. About once a week Francisco takes the dogs into the shower with him. He walks the dogs daily. On occasion he will take the on long hikes walking from the San Francisco Bay to the Pacific Ocean. He will have energy the next day, but the dogs will be exhausted. He loves the dogs, and always treats them good. When he is drunk and belligerent however, they pick up on it and it is easy to tell that his mood scares them.
