The dress of this region is singular, as well as a beauty that is typical and common within the Quiché Maya area.

The blouse or huipil of the woman is finely embroidered in very loud colors and with very elaborate and characteristic stylized designs. The shawl to cover herself with, is woven on a loom by hand, always of a red color and with designs, at the ends, of a geometric type. The skirt is red and, in part, of the tie-dye class.

The man uses a palm leaf hat fringed with a black ribbon. The jacket is the garment that distinguishes him: it is red, tightly woven of cotton, and decorated with peculiar black designs. He uses a wide sash, to hold up his pants, that in design is very similar to the shawl of the woman.

La camisa o "huipil" de la mujer está finamente bordada en colores muy llamativos y con diseños de estilización muy elaborada y característica. El "perraje" para cubrirse, está tejido en telar de mano, siempre en color rojo y con diseños, en las puntas, de tipo geométrico. La falda es roja y, en parte, de la clase "jaspe".

El hombre usa sombrero de palma o "petate", ribeteado con cinta negra. El saco o chaqueta, es la prenda que lo distingue: es roja, de apretado tejido de algodón, y decorada con diseños en negro muy peculiares. Usa una "faja" amplia, para sujetarse el pantalón, que en dibujo, es muy semejante al "perraje" de la mujer.
