Frank Mays has a special relationship to the Maya of Guatemala. His interest in them and work with them helps them preserve their culture and way of life. He runs the most important store of Maya traje in Guatemala, Nim Po't in Antigua. It is the only place where anyone can go and ask to see, for example, a huipil from Chajul or a corte from Sololá and he will have 10 to 20 examples of each.
