This was one of four Tz'utuhil Maya paintings to be exhibited at the Palace of Legion of Honor in San Francisco for the exhibit "The Courtly Art of the Ancient Maya." These and a few Maya textiles were the only objects included with the ancient Maya artifacts. The "Courtly Art of the Ancient Maya" also was on display at the National Gallery in Washington, D.C.
